Redistribute BGP into OSPF

Because some tosspot always thinks that they “get” route redistribution. Then they configure it.

Even if it works the first time, it breaks a couple days later. At 2am when you can barely even think straight. Then you are trying to unpick a network design that has 50 routers with one-way routing problem.

Nah, route redistribution is always a bloody disaster.

You Only Run EIGRP, I Can’t Stand It

There are many people that think that EIGRP is the best and only routing protocol that you should ever use. This was true in 2002. Today, you are a complete tosspot sticking to what you know.

Time to give up the old stuff and get a bloody move on. The rest of th world might pass you by while you are picking your toes.

There are good reasons why people are using OSPF instead of EIGRP but you probably don’t even know what they are.

EIGRP Routing – I’ve got that covered

The best feature of EIGRP is that it works pretty well. Lots of people just enable EIGRP and then call it done.

Doesn’t make you a network engineer though. Takes more than that that to know how its’ done.

router eigrp 1, network 0.0.0.0 is a useful tool though. It usually just works.
