WAN Acceleration is a hack too far. Ok, so many of the protocols are invented by losers (like Microsoft CIFS) and can be be compressed a gazillion times. That doesn’t mean it’s a good idea.
What’s the first thing that happens when you deploy WAN Acceleration and then something goes wrong ?

I loathe anything that modifies my beautiful packets. Just leave them the hell alone.
